What is 9M2ZA? Its a callsign of an amateur radio station. Operators or owners of such stations are radio enthusiasts who are keen in enhancement of knowledge in radio communication, keen in building local as well as international friendship irrespective of race, color, religion and political ideologies and call themselves Radio Amateurs or Hams.
9M is ICAO or Ham prefix for Malaysia as you see on all Malaysian civil aeroplanes like MAS. Number 2 is the area code for Peninsular Malaysia (6 = Sabah, 8 = Sarawak) and the ZA is the suffix registration of CMC ( Comms Authority), unique to the holder of the license, in this case, ME or I or saya or in Greek its EGO.

Man needs to screen the photos first to avoid Jabatan Agama Islam Kedah go after him, so please allow a few hours before your pix can be displayed.
News items, links, adverts, fleamarket (no fleas) are also on the main page. You can advertise your thing there. He needs just a small commission.
This is Zainal's very messy shack (Radio Station) You see Shortwave Transceiver and tuner in the middle bott, Power supply and vhf transceiver and tuner on top, computer for internet link left bottom and printer bottom right. Outside on a 50 ft mast in the garden is the rotatable antenna, to tembak the signal to wherever you want it to go. Learn some Malay, tembak = shoot, or fire as in shoot, not flame.

This pic here is my Morse keyer. They also call it the Squeezer coz you have to squeeze the double paddles to get the dots and the dashes. Morse Codes mmmmm sound like music to me :). Toot toot toot wow very nice, I communicate that way, crazy isnt it? Blimey! You can also send Morse with this. They call it the straight keyer. But then, aiyaaa so slow la, at about 12 wpm. I have this for show only but rarely use it, you see, even the the wire is not connected.

Ketawa la sikit
A man and his wife were
driving home one very cold night when the wife asks her husband to stop the car.
There was a baby skunk lying at the side of the road, and she got out to see if
it was still alive.
It was, and she said
to her husband, "It's nearly frozen to death. Can we take it with us, get it
warm, and let it go in the morning?"
He says, "O.K., Get
in the car with it."
"Where shall I put
it to get it warm?"
He says, "Put it in
between your legs. It's nice and warm there.
"But what about the
smell?"
"Just hold its
nose."
The man is expected
to recover, but the skunk she used to beat him with died at the scene.
