CONTEST CYMRU has been formed as a loose association of like minded individuals with the object of entering various
contests on a joint basis. The following stations ( listed in chronological callsign order) with contemporaneous or historical connections with the
Principality are founder members.

The club holds the callsign GW3XEJ which last entered a major contest in 1969 (!) being the CQWW CW event of that year
piloted by several of the above callsigns.

The club has applied for a special contest callsign, which it hopes to air regularly in major international events, on both
CW and SSB
