Keeping ClusterMaster updated

When ITU changes a prefix allocation, or ARRL adds a country to the DXCC list or deletes a country, it is appropriate to replace the ClusterMaster files containing information on prefix and country allocations with an updated version.

First check, in your ClusterMaster directory, the date of files PREFIXES.TBL (ITU prefixes) and DXCC.TBL (DXCC countries). Then compare the dates against those of current version.

• the most recent PREFIXES.TBL file is dated 23 July 2011
• the most recent DXCC.TBL file is dated 23 July 2011

Such files include the new South Sudan (ST0) DXCC country.

Notice will here be given when updated files will become available. At that time you shall just:

• download the latest available PREFIXES.TBL and DXCC.TBL files (squeezed in file UPDATE.ZIP)
• copy the unzipped files(s) into your ClusterMaster directory, just overwriting the old ones

NOTES:

• the downloaded files are only compatible with ClusterMaster version v4.40b or newer
• when you substitute the .TBL files with a newer version, the personal DXCC data that you have entered into ClusterMaster remain still fully valid, no worry.

Check this page from time to time, to learn of any change.
