KB4YZ Shack
Built in 1930 with local limestone block by John Scott, owner and stone mason.
Tower
This straight-up view is an unusual angle for a picture of a tower. It is a simple "TV Type" tower that is 62 feet in height and host to a couple of two meter antennas.
House
Our new house was completed in 1994 and features a geo-thermal "Water Furnace". We find it more comfortable than the heat pump systems we had in other houses.
View from nearby hill
Southern Indiana is known as "Hoosier Hills". It is quite hilly but becomes flat just north of here.
Pond
The frequent torrential rains will fill this pond only to drain into caverns below.
Neighbor's field
Hay bales are ready for transport to a nearby cattle farm.
Lightning strikes near house
The frequent thunderstorms have the potental of producing tornadoes.
Morel mushroom
Mushroom hunters venture out into the wooded areas in early spring in search of the prized morel.
Geode
This is a close up view inside a geode. Found in dry creek beds, their size ranges from that of a golf ball to a basketball.
