Here is a very rare John Merrick VE3AWA original, on a beautiful oiled walnut base. John was a machinist who hand-crafted a number of keys and paddles; he passed away in March 2005 at the age of 88. To help overcome his wife's death, he set up a small machine shop in his condo bedroom where he designed and made keys for 15 years until his health deteriorated.
