The N4OME repeater operates on a frequency of 147.165+ with a PL Tone of 131.8 hz and is located in Madras, Georgia about 35 miles SW of Atlanta down I-85. It is an open repeater and all are welcome. During severe weather it is linked to the Georgia ARES/SKYWARN hub repeater 444.675+ (PL 77 hz). Also at the Madras site is the K4HAC - 442.250 repeater with a PL Tone of 141.3 hz and it also serves as an ECHOLINK station sponsored by James, KD4FTK. The 147.165 repeater is a GE Master II on battery backup and the remote base is a Kenwood TM-G707. The 442.250 is a Motorola Micor. Both repeaters use a CAT- 200 controller and share a Diamond Dual Band X510 antenna at 390 feet.
