Node 7781 is a portable UHF Repeater, Frequency
Agile Two-Meter Remote Base, Autopatch, and IRLP node. It’s called the “PortaPeater" © TM It’s all packaged in to a Zero-Halliburton case
that easily fits under a commercial airline seat. It will operate on 12 vdc and 90-240 vac, 50-60 Hz |

Inside the case is a 12 vdc switching power
supply, repeater/remote base
controller, Autopatch, X-10 transmitter (single unit
on/off), and an Icom IC 2A two-meter handheld (repackaged in a rf tight case). The heart of the PortaPeater is a GE MVP UHF
mobile radio. RF filtering is accomplished with a six can UHF,
mobile Celwave duplexer, a separate single can Phelps Dodge rx pass cavity,
and a DB Products circulator. |
