From 5.June till 17.June 2000 Barbara
and Mike stayed in the IONIAN SEA (southern adriatic
north Greece) on the island CORFU. The island counts for
RSGB IOTA award as EU-052. It is located
between Sicilly and Albania, in front of the northern
Greek coastline and is about 65km long. Corfu is a very
green island with a lot of olive-trees, beautiful
flowers, nice beaches and great food. The highest hill is
950m above sealevel and offers a great view. A lot of
commercial antennas are located on top of PANTOKRATES, in between an old, picturesque monastery.
