21, 2020, at

and camping.
Don
is survived by his son, Dan Chinnery; a
granddaughter, Jessica Chinnery; a sister, Lucille
Rogers; and girlfriend Rosalie Gates.

Don became a Novice Amateur Radio operator in
1962, upgrading to Extra in 1990.
Don was founder of the Club Newsletter and
website, donated most of the TNCs
and equipment for the hospital go-kit, and was named “Amateur of the Year” in
2008.
Don also served with the Katrina ham radio team at Kiln,
MS in 2005 (see http://www.sccarc.info/katrina.html)
