Igatpuri Monsoons.
Hi everybody. I'm Ulhas operating from the city of Pune, India (18.34N 73.58E). I've been a ham since 1971 and a maritime mobile op. since 1975. Now I'm obsolescent, obese, old and unemployed!
I've one wife, Sheelu, a son Siddhant and a daughter Kaushalika. My 83 year old mother also lives with us and we also have a boxer called Rocky.

I am a pessimist by nature and am forever whining - the family probably wishes that I'd vanished in the Bermuda Triangle...unfortunately I didn't and am now grounded here in Pune, fated to do my wee bit towards my wife's new venture - a fast food joint called ' Break-Inn'.
Once my hygain vertical is up again, I should be QRV on 14, 21 and 18 - phone and ssb. I want to try amtor but have not hooked up my pc as yet. I enjoy the internet - but the phone bills are killing!
I enjoy ham radio more - but the temperatures in my shack at this time are too uncomfortable......
I told you, I like to whine !!!
