About ADIF Prefix Calculator

This software loads WPX type ADIF files with the <PFX:xxx> tag and calculates the different callsign prefixes. The software will load and capture the totals for big files. ADIF files must have the .adi file extension.

The output is a matrix of unique prefixes:
Total unique prefixes by band and mode 160m thru 10m, including the WARC bands.
Total unique prefixes per mode PH, CW, FT4,8 and DIG.

Modes:
PH = PH, SSB, AM and FM
CW = CW
FT4,8 = FT4 and FT8
All other modes are considered as DIG.

Put your ADIF files in an optional folder.
Use the File Set folders menu.
The `Default` folder is the application startup folder.
Click `Done` when finished.

Click an ADIF file, then click Calculate. The results are printed to the screen. Use the Print Screen menu to print the screen capture. The same information is also written to the {ADIF_filename.sum} text file. "ADIF_filename" is the name of the file being calculated (W3KM.ADI, 2011 CQ WPX RTTY.ADI etc.) - the .ADI extension is replaced with the .SUM extension.

The software screen can be re-sized by dragging the lower-right corner of the form. Use the upper-right-X to save the position and screen size.

To view or edit the ADIF file, click the file and do right-mouse click. NotePad or EditPad must be in the application folder for this open function to work.

To view the SUM file, do right-mouse click on the summary output window.
