Helvetia Contest

HB stations work everyone and send RST, serial # and 2 letter Canton.
Multipliers are the 26 Swiss Cantons and DXCC per band.
3 QSO points for contacts with non-European stations.
1 QSO point for contacts with European stations.

HB9 to HB9 QSOs:
Enter the serial # and Canton as a 1 field entry.

GenLog will separate the serial # from the Canton multiplier. You may enter the Canton and Serial # separately if you wish.
HB9 to non-HB9 QSOs:
The DXCC multiplier is displayed from lookup, hit <Enter> or <Space> to move to the Serial field.

Non-HB stations work only HB stations and send RST and serial #.
Multipliers are the 26 Cantons per band.
3 QSO points for contacts with HB stations.
Enter the serial # and Canton as a 1 field entry.

GenLog will separate the serial # from the Swiss Canton multiplier. See more on multiple fields input.
Note:
Entering the Canton and the Serial# into their respective fields does work also, however the SNCanton field is looking for a specific format before it moves to the Serial# input - which may require the use of the <Tab> key to move fields when entering the exchanges separately.

The `To Work` and `Worked` functions are per band, not per log.

Score = QSO points  X  the total number of multipliers.

Datafiles required: [ dxcc_pre.dat ] & [ all_coun.dat ] & [ counties.txt ].

The [ swiss_cantons.dat ] file is used when writing the Cabrillo file. If no Cantons are listed at column 84 of the file, the datafile is probably missing.

The HB9 Cabrillo file will have a QSO/Multiplier summary displayed in the SOAPBOX: field that can help with your log submission.
