Arizona QSO Party
AZ stations send a 4-digit significant year (from the sponsor`s list) and a 5-character StateCounty (e.g. AZMCP).
The selected year is used throughout the entire contest. A different year can be selected next year.
Multipliers are per 3 modes: States (50) (DC is MD), Canadian provinces (13) and DXCC countries.
When Arizona stations work your own state, you can edit the log file to have GenLog count Arizona as a multiplier, since counties are exchanged but not counted.
Non-AZ stations send name (10 characters max.) and State, Province or DXCC prefix.
Multipliers are per band and 3 modes: 15 Arizona counties.
When entering AZ counties, you can either enter the 5-character statecounty or enter a 3-character county, APH for example, and the entry will be prefixed with AZ.
Bands are on 160m-2m - no WARC bands.
All stations work QSOs once per band/mode (PH, CW & DIG) except when station changes counties.
QSO Points: 1 point per PH QSO and 2 points for CW and Digital QSOs.
You can select RTY, PSK or DIG for all non-CW digital QSOs, but pick one to use in the logger for the whole contest so duping is handled properly. All Digital QSOs are RY in Cabrillo.
Click the [Multi/Bonus] button to enter any bonus points. Re-load log to update score.
Scoring: Total score = (QSO points X multipliers) + bonus points.
