State QSO Party mults 2
When all 50 states are multipliers, but not your state`s counties, the following example shows how to have GenLog count your own state as a multiplier. In any event, the contest sponsor will count your state.
When you work your own state, you can edit the log file to have your state counted as a multiplier. Below, you are just editing the log temporarily so a new multiplier is counted in the log. It is probably easiest to do these edits in NotePad or EDITPAD.
Remove these edits in your Cabrillo log before submission.
Below is a Kansas QSO Party example log, just use your state abbreviation where applicable.
QSO #2 is a Kansas station - counties are not a multipliers.
40m CW 05/29/03 0300 W3KM 599 AND 599 PA 1 2
40m CW 05/29/03 0307 W0XYZ 599 AND 599 DOU 2
40m CW 05/29/03 0308 W5LUA 599 AND 599 TX 2 2
Add /KS to the exchange of the first Kansas QSO. Then edit the # new mults.

It is easiest to do the editing as early as possible, after this the logger will correctly count and number the new multipliers. Keep all the columns as they were, with spaces not <Tabs> between fields. Remove the /KS in the Cabrillo log before submission. In any event, the contest sponsor will count your state.
