CQ WW RTTY DX Contest

Stations in the 48 U.S. States and in Canada send signal report, State/Area and CQ zone.

All other stations (including KL7 and KH6) send signal report and CQ zone.

Multipliers:
48 States, 14 Canadian areas, CQ Zones and DXCC/WAE countries per band. State and Canadian area * abbreviations are listed in the datafile [ 48plus.dat ].
W/VE mults are 2 characters, except NWT and PEI. For non W/VE QSOs, the DXCC prefix is inserted in the SPC (State/Province/Country) field so GenLog can calculate the score - just hit <Enter> or <Space> to accept, otherwise over-type with the correct data.
QSO points:
Between stations in different continents, 3 points.
Between stations in the same continent - different country, 2 points.
Between stations in own country, 1 point.

Score = Total multipliers  X  total QSO points.

Check the CQ WAE list [ wae_list.txt ] post contest and edit your log if necessary. Click the {Edit/Change} label. Find the QSO and click that line. Click in the DXCC multiplier field and make the change.

Use the Windows function <Alt> + <Tab> to switch between RTTY software and GenLog.

Datafile required: [ cq_zones.dat ].

Datafile required to write the Cabrillo file: [ 48plus.dat ].
Any S/P/C mult in your log that is not in this datafile is assumed to be a DXCC prefix and is changed to `DX` in the Cabrillo file. Verify the spelling and re-write the Cabrillo file if necessary.
