My current ham station consists of a Yaesu FT-847, which covers 10 - 160 meters in the HF bands, also 6 meters, 2 meters, and 70 centimeters. I also have a Kenwood TS-700s, 2 meter all mode rig, and a Yaesu FT-5100, 2 meter, 70 centimeter FM only rig, which I use for APRS & packet. My shack computer is a IBM Think pad #760 which I use for call sign lookup & also for logging purposes. I use VHF-DX as my VHF contest & satellite logging software.
My antennas are :(2) Cushcraft 50-5s, 5 element beam for 6 meter SSB , a Comet CA62DB for 6 meter FM, also a Cushcraft 17B2 17 element beam for 2 meter SSB, and a Cushcraft AR-270 vertical for 2 meter & 70 centimeter FM, and a Cushcraft A3 triband beam for HF.
My ISP, Internet Service Provider, is FreeWWWeb, I got tired of paying monthly charges for the internet, there is a one-time fee and then no additional charges, have been using it for 15 months & love it !!
