Brief Biography:

I am a native and current resident of the Central Lafourche Parish area. I have been a ham radio operator since 1995 and mainly enjoy the technical and chatting side of ham radio with Amateur repeaters/ linking being my major interest currently. However I have been known to get on HF and chat up the world.
When I am not involved with being President of Thibodaux ARC/ Bayou Region ARS, I am a Vice President  and region 3 repeater coordinator of the Louisiana Council of Amateur Radio Clubs (lacouncil.net which our club is a member) as well as a Senior Automotive Technician at a local Ford dealership specializing in Electrical/Electronics, and Gas Driveability (aka Check Engine Light).
I also have a lifelong love of everything related to Mass Media Broadcasting (aka radio/tv) and am one of the people behind our current push to get our Low Power FM station KZYL-LP on the air from Galliano.

What I enjoy about Amateur Radio:

I have always been interested in radio, rather it be Citizens Band, Amateur, Broadcast radio ;and as I said for me personally, it has been two fold with getting projects up that other people use such as the repeaters; as well as the conversations, and friendships that develop from communication radio. As I have got to travel and experience 14 different states and 2 Canadian provinces all thru friendships made due or thru friends of Ham radio that I may never have done without those connections. However a open mind is needed to fully enjoy these friendships and experiences
