After
a long awaited rush of energy and the real need to dig the holes for
the two antenna masts I want to erect before the ground gets too hard,
or else another year will go by befor I will get the chance again!
Well I did it! Finially with just a spade, posthole borer and a cart to carry
the sand away I succeeded in completing the second hole in just a week,
all of 2.5 m3. This will hold my stand-alone 13m high tilt over
telescopic mast and the other my guyed tower 9m high for the 6m band
with a 1.8m3 foundation.
Hoora!!!, Both towers have been erected and are ready for their
antennas. In addition to these two towers I have moved the aliminuim
tower to the middle of the shipping container so I can use the
container for two of the stay wires. This tower is for the 4x7 element
2meter array which will be up soon.
Well finally installed
the HF antenna and 4 x 2m LFA's as well although both antenna
installations need some adjusting of the antenna feeder tails so they
are free when rotating.
