Yaesu FT-817

From the Papakura Radio Club 'Project Evening' guru's. This accessory for the FT-817 has been built by hams around the world. This has been a success story and a credit to those who did the R & D for the display. Knowledge from the use of the display in the FT-817 project is also employed in the APRS Project in conjunction with the MAXON DM2550 brick.

Over recent months, Amateur Radio operators from the Auckland area have been involved in modifying the Yaesu FT-817. 

These mods include a remote LCD display with on board access facilities for remote control of the radio.
