Abandoned highways and bridges of Texas

Abadoned Airport Road/Interstate 35 Exit Ramp in Austin, Texas

This is on the north side of Austin, not far from the University of Texas. This is the rare instance of a ramp from an Interstate Highway being closed. I don't know why this particular section was closed and it's unusual that some of the slab was left in place. I would guess that some of the slab will be removed and grass might be planted in the future.
