Ora Street

Ora Street, near Dacoma at Hempstead:

Ora Street was apparently never a very busy street. It seems to have been built in the early 1960s about the same type Dacoma Drive was built and designated as U.S. 290. There is not much left and what's left is gated off. The street sign for Ora no longer exists. From old maps it appears that Ora was a short dead end street. It may have basically been not much more than a driveway for a local business. There is not much pavement beyond the gate - the ground is returning to mostly grass.
