State Highway 105 near Stoneham/Plantersville/Navasota

A very interesting old section. State Highway was rebuilt on a new alignment, but old sections of pavement, including a very old bridge, were pretty much left intact. The old sections start and stop as dead ends and actual make short local roads, although I still put them in the abandoned category. The old bridge I found still has a marker on it telling when it was built and who built it. Real historical stuff. This is a fun section to view if you get the chance. Take 105 east from Navasota and after a few miles you'll start seeing the sections of old road. Enjoy!
