State Highway 6 old ramps College Station/Bryan

The highway 6 bypass around College Station and Bryan opened around 1971 or 1972 and pretty much kept the same design, but in the late 1980s the exit ramps were redesigned for better grading. Apparently the original ramps were a bit close to the roads coming off the freeway. So there are very interesting abandoned exit ramps in this area. I did not realize just how awkward those original exits must have been, but thanks to the Google map aerial, you can see how they definitely were.
