Rankin Road

This is more of an anomaly instead of abandoned road, but this tiny piece of concrete that was poured by a railroad track has been unused for 20 years of more. Apparently original plans called for a four lane divided roadway on this section of Rankin and at the railroad track, sections of concrete were poured for both lanes, rather than coming back and pouring another. I call this an example of an "abandoned" project, although maybe some day it will eventually be divided. The concrete however won't be up to specs though and will need to be ripped up and new concrete put in. Just a weird sort of abandoned case. What do you think?
