March 12, 2014 Meeting Minutes

Bryan,
VA3BRY, brought the meeting to order.
M.S.—Neil,
VE3VNM; Ted, VE3TBO—the minutes of the
January 8, 2014 meeting be adopted as read.
Carried.
Bryan,
VA3BRY, will recommend to the Fire Chief, the Fire Department purchase a
climbing harness on behalf of the club.
Scott,
VA3EXT, reported the E.O.C. computer is running.
However, the weather display program isn’t updating the data properly on
our web site. APRS is running.
Five of the
ham class students wrote and passed their basic tests.
Industry
Canada has accepted Scott as a volunteer examiner.
M.S.—Bob,
VA3GUN; Scott, VA3EXT—the Financial
Statement as at March 12, 2014 be accepted as corrected.
Carried.
The
Eton-Rugby Community Club approached Neil, VE3VNM, asking the club to provide
radio coverage for their Mud Run to be held Saturday, June 12.
Unfortunately, that event will conflict with the club’s annual BBQ.
Neil will advise the Community Club.
Bryan,
VA3BRY, will develop a plan to approach local groups for assistance in funding
the Emergency Trailer.
Scott,
VA3EXT, has donated a laptop for the EmmCom trailer.
Neil,
VE3VNM, moved the meeting adjourn.
