104 ..... RUSSIAN ELECTRONIC KEYER PADDLE |
This interesting Russian Keyer came with the original box and a very complete set of instructions with full schematics. Here are some more views of the paddle. Darrell, ZL/W6HPM tells me that the design, based on a hacksaw blade, may have been suggested by the use of a hacksaw blade by Russian marine operators to make a sideswiper, the Russian name for which was 'pila' (pee-LA) or saw.

This key was manufactured in Belgium by "Gerard". It has GERARD
stamped under the arm plus a "T", visible on the right photo.
It has a very original and nice shape and also very well preserved.
Works smoothly!
