Yes, I know. Nobody wants to know this. Why the heck are your reading this page anyway? ;-)

    - Carter, Angela: The Bloody Chamber
Short stories by Angela Carter based on European fairy tales, among them
    "The Company of Wolves".

    - Carter, Angela: Wise Children
A strange book, very "dry" humour (sic!). Everyone who knows elderly people
and loves Shakespeare will love this book.

    - Bradbury, Ray: Fahrenheit 451
I love well-written Science Fiction. Truffaut's legendary movie is a
    classic, the book is better.

    - Clarke, Arthur C.: 2001
Well, this time the movie was better, but the book is still great.

    - Adams, Douglas: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
    No comment.

    - Adams, Douglas: Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (Dirk Gentlys holistische Detektei)
Not quite as funny as the Hitchhiker's Guide, instead a bit more
intellectual (but just a bit). I like this novel even more.

    - Adams, Richard: Watership Down
A great book. Can't be described in one sentence. Get it, read it, and you
    will understand.

    - Douglas, Adam: The Beast Within
A non-fictional book about the history of therianthropes in the European
    cultural realm.

    - Strieber, Whitley: Wolfen
A horror novel only on the first look. In fact an intelligent critic of
    modern society. Get it now!

    - Strieber, Whitley: The Wild (Bestie)
A novel with horror elements about a shape shifter. An interesting
and excellently written new interpretation of the werewolf myth.

    - Farmer, Philip José: Wolf, Iron and Moth
    A short story. Great transformation.

    - Transformation Story Archives
Transformations into animals, mystical being, the other gender...

      - Enya (everything!)
Words cannot describe her beautiful music.

      - Clannad
Sister, brothers and uncles of Enya... Everything from Irish Folk to
      Rock.

      - Máire Brennan
Enyas older sister, member of Clannad.

      - Andreas Loefke
Very beautiful Irish instrumental music (celtic harp).

      - Wolfstone
      Scottish folk rock

      - Adiemus: Adiemus
Ethno-Pop influenced by Jazz and Classic. Fine music!

      - Pink Floyd
The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, The Divison Bell... Need to tell you
      more?

      - Kate Bush
      Well-told stories and great music.

      - Dire Straits: Money for Nothing
      Who doesn't know them?

      - Anne Clark
Poems recited to electronic music. A bit weird at first, but very
      beautiful.

      - The Nits
What's that? Pop? Avantgarde? Or both?

      - R.E.M.
"New Adventures in HiFi"? No, the same they've always done. And that's
      a Good Thing [tm].

      - Fury in the Slaughterhouse: pure life!
      Hannover's R.E.M. ;-)

      - Element of Crime: Weißes Papier
      German pop poets...

      - Alphaville: The Breathtaking Blue
Their third album, released 1989. Regretable not very successful.

      - Paul Roland: Dance Macabre / Cabinet of
      Curiosities
Very dark lyrics, mostly sentimental music, spoooky!

      - Smetana: My Fatherland

      - Delius: Orchestral Works

      - Ravel: Bolero and Le Waltz

      - Verdi: all the operas, especially Aida
Sorry, I love his stuff. And I hate Mozart. Period.

      - Puccini: all the operas
Puccini's work I love even more. And I still hate Mozart.

      - 2001
A master piece, IMHO the best movie of all times.

      - Streifen
A breathtaking masterpiece by animation artist kyo.

      - Princess Mononoke
Another master piece, Japanese animation, second place on my list of
the best movies of all times.

      - The Company of Wolves
A rather strange fairy tale movie after Angela Carter's short story.
Little Red Riding Hood quite different, demasking Grimm's perception of
fairy tails. Well photographed, good special effects.

      - Watership Down
The first movie that made me cry. An animated version of Richard Adams'
famous book. Great backgrounds, great music, but don't watch when
      you're already depressed.

      - The Pink Panther
Not Friz Freleng's cartoon series, the movie with Peter Sellers as the
      inspector.

      - Cat People
...the remake mit Natassja Kinski. (yiff!)

      - Ladyhawke
With young Michele Pfeiffer and Ruttger Hauer as protagonists.
      Beautiful!

      - Dragonheart
Another fairy tale. The computer animated dragon is far better than the
      animation of Jurasic Park.

      - American Werwolf (An American Werewolf in
      London)
No comment... ;-). Just why do they shoot the protagonist in
      the end?

      - Fahrenheit 451
Though the book is better: The movie is still good.

      - Marx Brothers: A Night at the Opera
Music and comedy, what more can you wish for? Everything else is just a
      lame copy.
