My first Motorbike was a Kawasaki GPZ 500 with 44 KW and i had it for 5 years. It was very helpful in getting experience on driving.
On the 10th of June 98 a dream came true and i bought a Kawasaki ZX 9R, a real fast maschine with 900ccm and 107 KW (148 Horsepower) and a max speed about 278 Km/h (173 Mph) but haven´t tried this yet. It makes a lot of fun and you don´t have to change the gear very often, it seems to have neverending power.
I tested the gears for maximum speed (12000 U/min) on the speed
scale (about 5% to much):
1st gear up to 120 Km/h (75 Mph)
2nd gear up to 160 Km/h (100 Mph)
3rd gear up to 200 Km/h (125 Mph)
4th gear up to 235 Km/h (146 Mph)
5th gear up to 260 Km/h (162 Mph)
6th gear about 295 Km/h (184 Mph)
