2026 Field Day

The Annual Field Day event is in the bag and what a fun event.  Once again we were at Shane's (KE0APG) QTH.  We had a nice crowd of people that showed up.  We ended up running 4 transmitters making contacts successfully in spite of the high noise level bands for the first few hours.  The preliminary report made to the ARRL was made with 444 total points, this included 33 phone and 52 digital contacts, double points for transmitting with not more than 100 watts, and 170 additional administrative points.

The Saturday evening picnic was enjoyed by everyone. Thanks to Fred, K0FJW for the pulled pork and everyone else for the yummy side dishes.
