The Pye Radiotelephone Museum Of G8EPR has acquired from eBay via Ramco.co.uk.

A Nuclear Convoy Escort Vehicle (Bikes and Support Vehicles used by MOD Police.) Secure Speech Philips/Pye FM1100 UHF 7channel used 443 MHz - 449 MHz  Mobile with Sonic Waterproof Pannier Box and Sonic Waterproof Control Heads.

The FM1100 Has An Interesting Entry upon its inside top lid of the Transceiver Body

The Serial Number of the set and the Serial Number on the inside top lid match as does the date of manufacture.

The Type Of Radio Form.paper stuck onto the lid reads

DAVE HICKS G8EPR, MUSEUM CURATOR, HAD A SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT WORK IN EARLY 2016.
