Home » Regulations » 14 An Amateur Station is one which is:   a.   operated by the holder of a General Amateur Operator Certificate of Competency on the amateur radio bands   b.   owned and operated by a person who is not engaged professionally in radio communications   c.   used exclusively to provide two-way communication in connection with activities of amateur sporting organisations   d.   used primarily for emergency communications during floods, earthquakes and similar disasters.
