Home » Regulations » 48 The holder of a General Amateur Operator Certificate of Competency may permit anyone to:   a.   use an amateur radio station to communicate with other radio amateurs   b.   pass brief messages of a personal nature provided no fees or other consideration are requested or accepted   c.   operate the amateur station under the supervision and in the presence of a qualified operator   d.   take part in communications only if prior written permission is received from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
