Home » About HamDisk
The very first version of HamDisk was written in GWBASIC and was successfully used by my wife to assist her when studying for the ham radio exam. Rewriting the software in Turbo-C led to more versions and larger numbers of people passing the exam.

Many years have passed and the stand-alone DOS computers we once cherished have been replaced by a previously unthinkable array of internet-connected devices complementing the traditional PC and laptop.

Beta testing began just before Queen's Birthday weekend 2014 to coincide with the NZART Conference, and now with all questions and their answers completed it is ready for general use by students even though this stage only some of the explanations have been written. Explanations are currently being added almost daily and likely to be completed around July/August 2014.
