The addition of a USB charger instead of a cigarette female made sense to me. Show Chrome markets a kit that is as plug and play as it gets for the GL1800. The 52-820 USB requires a sigle 1 1/8" home to be drilled in the sidewall of the left pocket. Video instructions are on the web and are almost insulting. The hardest thing is to remove the plastic trim on the outside left edge of the dash. The only thing not mentioned is that a small cutout need to be made on the lower edge of the pocket lip. This will allow a cable to be routed out of the pocket without causing an issue with closing the lid of the pocket.
