Below is a list of DTMF functions for both  repeaters.  If there is something you want added please let us know and we will see what we can do. If something below doesn’t work let us know and we will look into it.

ECHOLINK FUNCTIONS ON THE 147.255 MACHINE

ECHOLINK IS CURRENTLY DOWN

Echolink connections look just like Allstar connection except the Echolink node numbers have been prefixed with a 3 and padded out to 7 digits with leading zeroes. For instance, if you want to connect to Echolink node 1234 on you would dial C3 followed by 3001234. If you have a 6 digit Echolink node number 123456, you would dial C3 followed by 3123456. As you can see we have reserved Allstar node numbers with a leading 3 for the Echolink number space.

C83 will Play the latest Weather Alert

C84 will play Metamora forecast

C73 will disconnect all connected nodes.

Wires X on  147.255 & 444.750 Linked into room 21179

Normally the VHF machine machine will be in room 21179.  If you want to make a out going connection  on any of the repeaters key up and press * that will  disconnect the room then you have about 15 sec’s to connect to another room by doing # then the node number.  The repeater will then play back something like  “ WIRES X , CONNECTED TO NODE 2245” If you are unsuccessful to link to another node the machine will automatically re connect to room 21179 which is our Central IL Linking room.

TO CONNECT TO A NODE  press  # then node number

DISCONNECT FROM A NODE press *

Status press #66666

Please when you are finished using wires  X please press * so the repeater can automatically go back into the Central IL room.  Any questions Contact us.

For the UHF Machine  you need to have a digital radio and use the WIRES X button to connect to other rooms and nodes.
