2 A Perferator

This is probably the most unusual piece of RTTY stuff I've found. The "2 A Perforator" makes holes (perforates) in paper tape. Most perforators involve motor driven linkages, pawls, levers and the like. This device is entirely powered by the typer, with a little help from the local loop. Note the cover on the left is elevated, exposing two large electromagnets and a relatively simple mechanism. Having scowered this from a fellow Ham's basement, don't expect to find another one....
