Tektronics 545
If you own and service Boatanchors, you naturally need test
equipment of the same era. Pictured is a Tektronics 545 which
was purchased from Uncle Sam about 15 years ago. Still in reasonable
shape, it allows me so "see" whats going on in boatanchor circuits,
an invaluable aid in determining faults. Often ignored by BA folk,
this is still a fine instrument. Due to their size and age, scopes
like this, complete with plug-in's and a cart, can be found
for next to nothing.
