This article documents my restortation of my grandfather's Globe Scout 40 transmitter.

Prior to Restoration.

Interior.

Dirt fallen out of the chassis

This chassis was absolutely crammed with dirt dauber nests!

Cleaned up interior.

Cleaned up chassis with new capacitors. I got replacements caps at Surplus Gizmos.

Power On! I brought the AC power input up slowly on my new-to-me variac.

After moving an RF coupling capacitors to correctly couple the 6AG7 output to the 6146 final input, I get power out!
