The Original HotCake House
For reasons not wholly understood by me, the Original HotCake House at 1002 SE Powell in Portland, Oregon has become the “hang out of choice” for the local hams. I must admit, the hotcakes are quite tasty. Anyway, every Saturday evening the parking lot fills up with vehicles bearing “ham” plates and the conversation turns to antennas, rare dx, paper chasing or maybe QRM gripes. Here are a few shots of the locals....
