Hiawatha Amateur  Radio Club

Although there wasn’t much sunshine available at the start of the event, the club managed to make 5 contacts using a solar charged battery setup for some bonus points on the final score. Solar charging is another way we as hams have to provide emergency communications during times of disaster.
