Experimental Repeater

I am presently experimenting with a cross mode, cross band repeater, in the Wenatchee area.

FM UHF node is a cheap Chinese Lexian VV-898, 10 watts output, attached to a Debian machine. Radio is in VOX mode.

DMR VHF node is presently a Yaesu FT-817ND with an MMDVM modem and a Raspberry Pi, 5 watts output.

4/19/20 - UHF FM side is presently down.

UHF side: FM - 446.530 MHz, PL 100.0Hz'

VHF side: DMR - 147.560 MHz, CC 1. FM traffic on talkgroup 30.

VHF DMR

This is also capable of two way APRS messaging. Send DMR SMS "ADD-[your call w/ SSID] to 311463 to enable APRS to DMR SMS gateway for your radio! I can also give you login details for your hotspot to try this on my MMDVM server. Also have a web interface for managing your DMR ID and APRS info for the gateway.

Talkgroups available on system:
