KP2 - AMERICAN VIRGIN ISLANDS, NA-106 The three OPs Kunio,JA1CJA (KP2/AE6XY), Takeo,JA3BZO (KP2/AE6YQ), and Masumi,JA3AVO (KP2/W3AVO), are going to rent the shack of Brad,K9BZ, from Jan 17-22. Listen for them in CW, SSB and digital modes on 160-6m. KP5 - DESECHEO ISLAND, NA-095 Bob Allphin,K4UEE, co-leader of the upcoming KP5 DXpedition asks for support from European DXers. Only with the unfatiguing commitment of the KP5 team they were able to obtain a special permission to place their antennas on a ridgeline above the helipad that will give a clear path to Europe. This increases the chance for small European stations with limited equipment to make a contact with Desecheo. Thus Bob asks those who need KP5 as a "new one" or look for mode and band points to support this large scale activity. Though Desecheo belongs to the Top 5 of the most wanted DXCCs in Europe the support from the Europeans lags behind the North American or Japanese support. They also published a new interview with the co-expedition leader Glenn Johnson,W0GJ. The audio file can be found in the Radio and Media Documentary Archive at: http://www.dokufunk.org/desecheo S2 - BANGLADESH, AS-127 The DXpedition to St. Martin's Island (AS-127) originally scheduled for the end of December 2008 is now expected to show up from Jan 16-22.
