DARC Committee "DX and HF contesting"

CE - CHILE
The special event station XR27RAID is active in all modes on all bands
from Jan 11-25 during the 27th Raid Atacama Desert Trophy, an off-road
car race through the Atacama desert. QSL via bureau to CE6TBN or HA1AG.

HS - THAILAND
Joerg,DL1MJF, will stay in Thailand again from Jan 20 until Feb 12 and
plans to become QRV as HS0ZGQ in CW/SSB on 40-10m with his Kenwood TS50
and a dipole. If he is able to realize his one week stay on the island
Koh Samui (AS-101) he will show up as HS0ZGQ/2. QSL via DL1MJF.

KH2 - GUAM, OC-026
Yoshi,JE2EHP, will be active in CW/SSB/RTTY on all HF bands and 6m
signing K1HP/KH2 from Guam (OC-026) from Jan 16-19. QSL via JE2EHP.

KP2 - AMERICAN VIRGIN ISLANDS, NA-106
     The three OPs Kunio,JA1CJA (KP2/AE6XY), Takeo,JA3BZO (KP2/AE6YQ), and
Masumi,JA3AVO (KP2/W3AVO), are going to rent the shack of Brad,K9BZ,
from Jan 17-22. Listen for them in CW, SSB and digital modes on 160-6m.

KP5 - DESECHEO ISLAND, NA-095
Bob Allphin,K4UEE, co-leader of the upcoming KP5 DXpedition asks for
support from European DXers. Only with the unfatiguing commitment of
the KP5 team they were able to obtain a special permission to place
their antennas on a ridgeline above the helipad that will give a clear
path to Europe. This increases the chance for small European stations
with limited equipment to make a contact with Desecheo. Thus Bob asks
those who need KP5 as a "new one" or look for mode and band points to
support this large scale activity. Though Desecheo belongs to the Top 5
of the most wanted DXCCs in Europe the support from the Europeans lags
behind the North American or Japanese support. They also published a
new interview with the co-expedition leader Glenn Johnson,W0GJ. The
audio file can be found in the Radio and Media Documentary Archive at:
     http://www.dokufunk.org/desecheo

S21SA and S21S in SSB and RTTY on following frequencies (in MHz):
       Band SSB RTTY
       10m 28.465 28.085
