The trio will work in SSB/CW/digital modes on 160m-6m. KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND, OC-030 AA4NN, EA1IR, DJ9ZB, KH7U, KI6TVS, KL2A, N1DG, N4PN, N4XP, N6GQ, N7CQQ, WB4JTT, W6KK, W6OSP, WA7NB, W8CAA, W8GEX, WA8NJR and OK1KT are planning to activate the coveted DXCC entity Midway (OC-030) for ten days in October 2009. This will be the first activity from Midway after almost ten years. Operation will take place with 5 or 6 stations using the callsign K4M on 160m-6m especially on the lowbands and in RTTY. V6 - FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA Yoshi,JJ8DEN, is momentarily QRV as V63PR from Pohnpei Island (OC-010) until Mar 19. His next stop will be the Chuuk Islands (OC-011) from Mar 20-24. VK9/LH - LORD HOWE ISLAND, OC-004 The "Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group" members IZ3ESV, K5YY, N2OO, N2OZ, SQ8X, SQ9DIE, SV2KBS, VK1TX, VK3HJ, VK3QB, VK4FW, VK4IO, VK4VCH, VK5CP, VK5PO and W5SL will activate Lord Howe Island (OC-004) as VK9LA from Mar 23 until Apr 3. Lowband DXers should be aware that on Lord Howe Island the sun sets around 0736 UTC and rises at 1936 UTC.
