E5 - SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, OC-013
     Tim,NL8F/VK4COF, will be active from Rarotonga (OC-013) signing E51COF
     in SSB on 80m/40m/20m/15m/10m and maybe 17m between Mar 21 and Apr 4.
     QSL via K8NA.

HH - HAITI, NA-096
     Jan,HH4/K4QD, and Don,HH4/AF4Z, plan to become active from the
     "Northwest Haiti Christian Mission" (http://www.nwhcm.org) from Mar 23
     until Apr 3. They will work in CW/SSB/RTTY on 160m-10m and also on the
     lowbands if there is power available during the night hours. They are
     planning to take part in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest (Mar 28/29) from the
     clubstation HH2JR using a special 4V4 callsign. QSLs via homecalls.

KH0 - NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS, OC-086
     KH0/KI3DNN (QSL via JI3DNN), KH0/N3MU (QSL via JA3CEK) and
     KH0/K2JA (QSL via JL3SIK) are expected to show up from Saipan (OC-086)
     from Mar 19-22. The trio will work in SSB/CW/digital modes on 160m-6m.

KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND, OC-030
     AA4NN, EA1IR, DJ9ZB, KH7U, KI6TVS, KL2A, N1DG, N4PN, N4XP, N6GQ, N7CQQ,
     WB4JTT, W6KK, W6OSP, WA7NB, W8CAA, W8GEX, WA8NJR and OK1KT are planning
     to activate the coveted DXCC entity Midway (OC-030) for ten days in
     October 2009. This will be the first activity from Midway after almost
     ten years. Operation will take place with 5 or 6 stations using the
     callsign K4M on 160m-6m especially on the lowbands and in RTTY. The
     20m band will be activated all the time. Donations are very welcome!

OY - FAROE ISLANDS, EU-018
     Lars,OY/OZ1FJB, is working from the Faroe Islands (EU-018) from Mar 16
     until Apr 1. You can find him working mainly in CW (but also in SSB)
     from 2100-0000 UTC and from 0600-0700 UTC. He plans to work also on
     60m (5403.5 kHz USB). QSL via homecall.

S2 - BANGLADESH
     Due to some turmoils in Bangladesh the members of the "Korea DX Club"
     decided to cancel their S21KD DXpedition.

TK - CORSICA, EU-014
     Dragan,TK/9A2SX, Igor,TK/9A3AXX, Hrle,TK/9A6XX, and Marko,TK/9A8MM,
     will activate Corsica (EU-014) on 160m-10m from Mar 18-22. They will
     sign TK7P during the "Russian DX Contest" (Mar 21/22).
     The QSL manager 9A8MM will confirm all QSOs automatically via bureau.

V6 - FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA
     Yoshi,JJ8DEN, is momentarily QRV as V63PR from Pohnpei Island (OC-010)
     until Mar 19. His next stop will be the Chuuk Islands (OC-011) from
     Mar 20-24. Yoshi is QRV in CW/RTTY/PSK31 on 160m-10m. QSL via JJ8DEN.

VK9/LH - LORD HOWE ISLAND, OC-004
     The "Oceania Amateur Radio DX Group" members IZ3ESV, K5YY, N2OO, N2OZ,
     SQ8X, SQ9DIE, SV2KBS, VK1TX, VK3HJ, VK3QB, VK4FW, VK4IO, VK4VCH, VK5CP,
     VK5PO and W5SL will activate Lord Howe Island (OC-004) as VK9LA from
     Mar 23 until Apr 3. They intend to run seven stations in SSB, CW and
     RTTY (if possible also two on one band) using monoband yagis, wires and
     verticals for the lowbands. Lowband DXers should be aware that on
     Lord Howe Island the sun sets around 0736 UTC and rises at 1936 UTC.
     They announced to work on following frequencies (in kHz, u=up/d=down):

VK9/MR - MELLISH REEF, OC-072
     George,AA7JV, and Tomi,HA7RY, will activate Mellish Reef (OC-072) with
     only two OPs between Mar 22 and Apr 6. They will sign VK9GMW on all HF
     bands with focus on the lowbands. They even designed a new antenna for
     80m/160m. QSL cards should be sent direct via HA7RY, an upload to LoTW

VP5 - TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS
     Dave,VP5/W5CW, is going to become active between Mar 24 and Apr 8.
     During the WPX SSB Contest he will use the callsign VP59V but Dave will
     focus especially on 160m and the WARC bands before and after the WPX.
     QSLs for both calls only direct via Box 88, Morris, OK 74445-0088, USA.

     Art,VP5/N4PJ, and Marsha,VP5/K4IRI, are working in CW/SSB/RTTY from
     Providenciales Island (NA-002) from Mar 17-24 and they will use the
     special call VQ5B during the upcoming "Russian DX Contest".

4K - AZERBAIJAN
     Axel,DL6KVA, is going to visit Vlad,4K9W, and will show up on the bands
     as 4K0CW only in CW from Mar 19-25. Axel will use 100 watts and a 84m
     longwire on all bands. Axel also plans to take part in the upcoming
     Russian DX Contest (SOLP, CW) and confirms all QSLs via the bureau.

9H - MALTA, EU-023
     Valentin,DL5GA, is spending his holidays on Malta (EU-023) signing
     9H3GA on the HF bands from Mar 17-24. QSL via his homecall DL5GA.

ARGENTINA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     Members of the "Corrientes Radio Club" (LU4LG), the "Villa Angela Radio
     Club" (LU4GO) and the "Chaco Radio Club" (LU4GF) will activate the
     special event station LT9L from Esteros del Ibera situated on the shore
     of Lake Luna. The operators Juan Carlos,LU9GDN (SSB), Luis,LU4LC (SSB),
     Ricardo,LU4GL (CW), Raul,LU1JB/L (CW), Ramon,LU7LC (digital), and
     Nestor,LU4LE (digital), are planning their activities in CW, SSB, PSK,
     RTTY and SSTV on 80m/40m/20m/15m from Mar 21-23. QSL via EA5FL.

CANADA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     VC3Y is a special callsign of the "York Region Amateur Radio Club"
     activated during the 50th anniversary of the club until Mar 31.
     Neil,VE3SST, Igor,VE3ZF, Valdas,VE3VO, and Brent,VE3IRT, are going to
     activate the lighthouse on Bluffers Park Island (CISA new) with this

CROATIA, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     9A09P is activated from the city of Djurdjevac in all modes on all
     bands till Dec 31. All QSOs will be confirmed via bureau automatically.
     The history of Djurdjevac will be described on the special QSL card.

DXCC: The recent DXpedition to Desecheo (K5D) will be accepted for the DXCC.

     Gianni Vincis,IS0VSG, passed away on Mar 9. He was not only an active
     DXer but also pilot station for 6O0N (2006), J20MM/J20RR (2007) and

     also on 28560, 28460, 24950, 21260, 18128, 7055 and 7155 kHz.

NA-102, FG, Guadeloupe: Pat,FG/F4EBT, will hit the airwaves from Sainte Rose
     on Basse-Terre Island where he is going to spend his holidays from
     Mar 21 until Apr 11. Pat works only in SSB on 80m/40m/20m/17m/15m/12m/
     10m using a TS-50, 100 watts and a FD4. QSL via homecall (direct/buro).

NA-192, VE, Canada, Ellice Island: John,VE8EV, Wally,VE8DW, and Gerry,VE8GER
     will sign VX8X in SSB and CW mostly on 20m from Mar 20-23. They also
