APRIL FOOL!
     It was quite easy to discover our April Fool in the last DX Newsletter
     when we claimed that only bureau QSLs will be accepted for DXCC credit
     starting by April 1st. Of course, direct sent QSLs are still valid for
     the DXCC award and can be submitted for your credit.

ANTARCTICA, AN-016
     Felix,DP1POL, counts also for the World Flora & Fauna Award (WFF) of
     the RRC. He will print the new reference number DLFF-022 onto his QSL.
     This number is valid for the German Antarctic base "Neumayer III" which
     was opened in February 2009. Felix will try to hit the airwaves also
     during the "Green Days" on Jun 13/14.

C9 - MOZAMBIQUE
     ON3AEO, ON4AEO, ON7BK, ON4CJK, ZS6ABR, ZR6ACT, ZS6APT, ZS6AYC and ZS6GC
     will be QRV in SSB/RTTY/PSK/CW on 80m-10m signing C91FC from Apr 9-13.
     The QSL manager ON4CJK confirms QSLs direct or via bureau.

D4 - CAPE VERDE, AF-086
     Uli,DF8KN, will activate Boa Vista (AF-086) with QRP power signing
     D44TEP only in CW from Apr 8-13. Uli will use only a very short aerial.
     QSLs via DF8KN.

KG4 - GUANTANAMO BAY, NA-015
     Dan,W0CN, has postponed his trip to Guantanamo Bay (NA-015) but will
     be active now as KG4CN from Apr 10-20. Dan will work mostly in SSB
     on 160m-10m but plans to make some CW as well.
     QSLs direct, via bureau or LoTW to his homecall.

OH0 - ALAND ISLANDS, EU-002
     Anne,OH0/OH2YL, will show up from EU-002 in CW/SSB on all HF bands
     from April 9-14. QSL via OH2YL (also via bureau).

S0 - WESTERN SAHARA
     An international team including EA1CJ, EA1KY, EA2RY, EA3EXV, EA5RM,
     EA7AJR, F9IE, IN3ZNR, UT7CR and UY7CW are going to hit the airwaves
     from Western Sahara from Apr 12-17. They will sign S04R in CW, SSB and
     digital modes on 10m-160m, their pilot station is EA5BZ. QSL via EA5RM.

S7 - SEYCHELLES ISLANDS, AF-024
     Bernd,DL7UCX, will be operating from the Seychelles (AF-024) signing
     S79UCX mainly in CW on 80m-10m from Apr 5-17. Bernd will run 100 watts
     into dipoles and verticals.
     QSLs direct, via bureau or LoTW via his homecall DL7UCX.

T8 - PALAU, OC-009
     T88CW (JH0IXE) and T88NF (JA0FOX) are staying on Koror (OC-009) from
     Apr 4-12. They are working in CW/SSB/RTTY/PSK31/SSTV on 80m-6m.
     QSLs via homecalls.

TK - CORSICA ISLAND, EU-014
     Joachim,TK/F6BUL, will be QRV from Corsica (EU-014, DIFM TK-001) in
     CW and SSB from Apr 8-15. His QTH is about 50 km south of Bastia. He'll
     use an IC703 with 10 watts and a Walkabout or HF-5S Diamond antenna.
     His preferred frequencies are: 7011, 7048, 10109, 14011, 14111, 18078,
     18131, 21011, 21211, 24898, 24928, 28011 and 28411 kHz.
     QSL direct or via REF bureau to F6BUL.

XU - CAMBODIA
     Retu,OH4MDY, is back again in Sihanoukville. He will sign XU7MDY in CW,
     SSB, RTTY and PSK31 on 80m-10m from Apr 9-21. QSLs only direct via:
     Reijo Laitinen, Mantytie 13, 76940 Nenonpelto, Finland.

YV0 - AVES ISLAND, NA-020
     The "4M5DX Group" is planning another activity as YW0A from
     Aves Island (NA-020). Up to 15 operators shall work in SSB, CW and
     RTTY on 160m-6m but the activity is depending on the transportation
     by the Venezuelan navy. QSLs direct, via bureau or LoTW to IT9DAA.

9H - MALTA, EU-023
     Augusto,I2JJR/HB9TZA, will spend his Easter holidays on Malta (EU-023)
     from Apr 9-23. Augusto will show up as 9H3JR mainly in SSB on 40m and
     17m but plans to work also on all other HF bands. QSL via I2JJR.

HUNGARY, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     160 years ago Austria has occupied Hungary which is the reason for the
     special event station HG160FNY (QSL via HA0DX) to be active between
     Apr 1 and Jul 31. Other individual special calls are HA160DX, HA160KA,
     HA160NDE, HG160BW and HG160JUV which will be active during the same
     time. All QSLs via the Hungarian bureau.

ANTARCTICA TRIP
     Mehdi,F5PFP, who activated several Antarctic bases earlier this year
     is already planning his next trip to the Antarctic region which is
     scheduled to take place in two years. He states that there are many
     things to prepare (which takes some time) and that he is still looking
     for companions who like to spend about 6.000 EUR for this experience.
