FT/G - GLORIOSO ISLANDS, AF-011
FT5GA-Update: FT5GA already hit the airwaves as shown in the bandspot
section below. They have uploaded already 10.416 QSOs to their online
log by Sunday, Sep 20, 1104 UTC. They have some issues with other QSOs
and did not upload all of them yet to prevent any confusions.
Rafik,F5CQ, webmaster of FT5GA received many mails concerning missing
QSOs on 17m and 40m. Probably a pirate made some QSOs as FT5GA or a
completely station has been worked instead of FT5GA.
The online log can be found at: http://www.clublog.org/charts/?c=FT5GA

IARU World High Speed Telegraphy Championships (HST)
----------------------------------------------------
The very first gold medal for the German High Speed Telegraphy Team was won
by Fabian Kurz, DJ1YFK, in the RUFZ test (callsign receiving test) of the
8th World High Speed Telegraphy Championships taking place in Obzor/Bulgaria
from Sep 11-15, 2009. He left behind the other competitors by scoring
194.038 points at a maximum speed of 838 marks per minute (167,6 wpm).
Unfortunately he missed the current world record by only 500 points.
Congratulations Fabian!
