PY0/T - TRINDADE ISLAND, SA-010 Four members of the Rio DX Group (PY1NB, PY1ON, PY1YB and PY1ZV) are planning an activity as ZY0T from Trindade (SA-010) from Oct 17-20. This date may vary since they depend on the transportation provided by the Brazilian navy. Operation is planned with two stations in CW and SSB on 10m-160m on following frequencies: SSB: 28550, 28450, 24950, 21250, 18118, 14250, 7050, 3765 and 1840 kHz CW: 28030, 24910, 21030, 18088, 14030, 10110, 7005, 3520, 1821.5 kHz. QSLs via LoTW or direct an N0HJZ. 4U1UN - UNITED NATIONS HEADQUARTERS, NEW YORK The "4U1UN activity week" has been announced for Oct 19-25. Several first class operators will do their best to serve the deserving: OH2BH, OH0XX, OH2NB, OH6LI, G3SXW, F5CWU, F4EGD, PY5EG, JK3GAD, UA9AB, LA5IIA, LA4OFA, NN1N, K2QI, KA2RTD, K2LE, N2UN, N2GA, K2DO, KA2D, N2YBB, WQ2N and W2VQ. They are not allowed to attach additional antennas to the outside of the building for security reasons (headquarters of the UN) but the team will try to meet the demand for different band points. Their daily operating times are limited to 1200-0400 UTC. They also plan to join the multi-2 class of the upcoming WWDX SSB Contest. QSL cards should be sent direct, via bureau or LoTW to HB9BOU. The special event callsign 4U46UN is active until the mid of November. 6W - SENEGAL Seb,F8IJV, is going to spend his honeymoon in Senegal from Oct 14-30. He will use the shack of Jean-Francois,6W7RV, in CW/SSB/digital modes. Seb's callsign will be 6V7Q and he plans to join the WWDX SSB Contest as well.
