C9 - MOCAMBIQUE
     Mike,ZS6TAF, is working in the capital Maputo sometimes and then active
     as C91BA from his car. He is using a Yaesu FT857D and a Watson Multi-
     ranger mobile antenna for 80/40/20/15/10/6m. QSL via his homecall.

CE0Y - EASTER ISLAND, SA-001
     XR0Y will be the callsign of Marco,CE6TBN, Leszek,NI1L, Zbig,SP7HOV,
     Art,PA3C, Stan,SQ8X, and Victoria,SV2KBS, who are planning to activate
     Easter Island (SA-001) between Oct 31 and Nov 15. They have a licence
     for all shortwave bands but will emphasize the bands 160m/80m/40m and
     most of all 30m (only CW allowed). They plan to work with three radios
     at the same time (two of them with amplifiers) mainly in CW but also in
     SSB and RTTY.

     System (OQRS). They also plan to upload their log to the LoTW.
     Classic QSL cards for Europe/Asia/Africa/Pacific are managed by SQ8X,
     via bureau or direct to SQ8X, Stan, PO Box 8, 38-600 Lesko, Poland.
     All others shall send their QSLs via the Chilean QSL bureau or direct
     to the Radio Club de Chile, PO Box 13630, 330996 Santiago, Chile.

EL - LIBERIA
     Chris,ZS6RI, is working in Liberia for about six weeks starting by the
     end of October or beginning of November. He will work mostly in CW but
     also in SSB and digital modes using his QRP transceiver, dipoles and
     a vertical antenna.

FT/W - CROZET ISLAND, AF-008
     Florentin,FT5WO (F4DYW), is active from the Alfred Faure Base on
     Ile de la Possession (AF-008) until Nov 15. He prefers working on 20m
     and 17m mostly on 14260-14280 and 18165 kHz between 0600 and 1300 UTC.
     QSL via F4DYW, direct or via bureau.

J5 - GUINEA-BISSAU
     Joao,CT2GQA, will be in Guinea-Bissau for the next five years. He has
     two callsigns: J5GQZ to be used on 20m/17m and J5JUA for 80m/40m.
     QSL cards should be sent via his homecall.

T6 - AFGHANISTAN
     David,CT1DRB, will be active on the bands signing T6AG for the next
     six months. David is working only in CW and has been spotted on 30m
     already. QSLs direct or via bureau to EA3GHZ.

TZ - MALI
     Mac,JA8SLU, is expected to show up as TZ6JA from Nov 2-23. Mac works
     in SSB and confirms QSOs only direct via Mac Obara, PO Box 59, Tama,
     Tokyo, 206-8691 Japan.

VP2M - MONTSERRAT, NA-103
     Tom,VP2MUM (DL2RUM), Rudi,VP2MXO (DM2XO), and Jan,VP2MNK (DJ8NK),
     are going to activate Montserrat (NA-103) in CW/SSB/RTTY on 160m-10m
     from Nov 3-15. QSLs direct or via bureau to their homecalls.

YJ - VANUATU, OC-035
     Tomas,VK2CCC (LY1F), will be QRV in CW mainly on 80m/160m signing
     YJ0CCC from Efate Island (OC-035) between Oct 30 and Nov 5.

5H - TANZANIA
     Harald,DL7VSN, is back in Tanzania again and plans to become QRV after
     his Kilimanjaro trip around Nov 1. He will work on 160m-10m mainly in
     CW and RTTY running 100 watts with several dipoles. His callsign should
     be 5H1HS again. He may also activate another island group for one or
     two days if everything works fine with his transportation. Harald hopes
     to become active also from the Serengeti and Tarangire national parks
     where he will go on Nov 18.

8R - GUYANA
     Edi,PU8TEP, Abilio,PV8AZ, Paulo,PV8DX, Anderson,PY2TNT, Alex,PY2WAS,
     Iva,PV8IG, and Ivan,PY1YB, will show up as 8R1PY in CW, SSB, RTTY and
     PSK31 on 6m-160m between Oct 31 and Nov 4. Their QSL manager is PY2WAS.

CANADA, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The Vancouver Olympics Amateur Radio Group (VOARG) will activate three
     special calls to celebrate the Olympic Winter Games and Paralympics
     which will take place in Vancouver/British Columbia in Feb/March 2010:
        VG7V: Oct 1,2009, until Nov 30,2009,
        VG7W: Dec 1,2009, until Jan 31,2010,
        VG7G: Feb 1,2010, until Mar 31,2010.
     A website will go online soon, all logs will be uploaded to the LoTW.
     QSL cards can be sent via bureau or direct to: VOARG, 9362-206A St,
     Langley/BC, V1M 2W6, Canada.

MONGOLIA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     The Mongolian Border Service Institute celebrates its 75th anniversary.
     The special event station JU75BSI is active between Oct 23 and Nov 30.
     Their QSL manager is JT1CH (LoTW also ok).

THE NETHERLANDS, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     The special callsign PB65BP is activated in SSB and digital modes on
     all bands to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Breda
     (on Oct 29, 1944) until Nov 11. QSL via PA1WLB.

       T6AB: Afghanistan  (2008 and 2009)
