A7 - QATAR
     A71RCAR will be active from Doha during the "2010 Regional Conference
     on Amateur Radio" from Apr 4-6. A special QSL card is available via
     QARS Bureau, Qatar Amateur Radio Society (QARS), Box 22122, Doha, Qatar

C3 - ANDORRA
     The amateur radio society of Andorra (URA, Union de Radioaficionats
     Andorrans) celebrates its 30th anniversary. HAMs in Andorra may use
     the special prefixes C35 and C36 throughout the month of April 2010.

FK - FRENCH NEW CALEDONIA, OC-032
     Claude,FK8IF, writes that FK8KAB, the clubstation of the Noumea ARC,
     will be equipped with new antennas soon. They already made some repairs
     on the mast and installed a new multiband Spiderbeam. Another antenna
     for the lowbands is still being built. Claude is on the air with the
     clubcall every day from 0600 until 0800 UTC.
     QSL cards should be sent direct to FK8KAB or via the REF bureau.

FR - REUNION, AF-016
     Ced,FR/F4EGZ, is active on 10m/12m/15m/17m/20m/6m from Reunion (AF-016)
     between Mar 25 and Apr 19. QSLs via his homecall.

HK - COLOMBIA
     HK3OVP and HK3OCH are going to hit the airwaves as 5K7SNC from the
     Sierra Nevada mountains on Apr 1/2. Their preferred frequency will
     be 7140 kHz. QSL via bureau, direct or LoTW to HK3OCH.

LX - LUXEMBURG
     Joel,LX1ER, Steffi,ON3AEO, Luc,ON3CL, Jean,ON3JEP, Filip,ON4AEO,
     Kath,ON7BK, Jose,ON4CJK, Ronny,ON4RK, Gert,ZS6GC, Lucas,ZS6ACT,
     Sid,ZS6AYC, Adele,ZR6APT, OM Dennis and the YLs Magda, Elna and Marina
     will show up as LX9FC working in CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK on 80m-10m

VP8/F - FALKLAND ISLANDS, SA-002
     Ian,M0PCB, is now active as VP8FIR and VP8RAF from the RAF Amateur
     Radio Club Station at Mount Pleasant Airport until Apr 7. He has been
     spotted in CW on 15m already. QSLs for this activity via M0PCB.

YI - IRAQ
     A team of thirteen OPs (AH6HY, FM5CD, JH4RHF, K1LZ, K3LP, K3VN, N2WB,
     N6OX, N6PSE, W5KDJ, W0UCE, YI1UNH and YT1AD) will show up as YI9PSE
     from Erbil (Kurdistan) from Apr 2-11. They will activate not less than
     five stations simultaneously (including four with an amplifier). Their
     pilot stations will be Toshikazu,JA1ELY (JA), Col,MM0NDX (EU),
     Don,N1DG (USA eastcoast), and Chuck,AA6G (USA westcoast).
     The following operating frequencies were announced:
     CW:   1824, 3504, 7004, 10104, 14024, 18074, 21024, 24894, 28024 kHz
     SSB:  1845, 3780, 7065/7180, 14195, 18145, 21295, 24945, 28495 kHz
     RTTY: 7035, 10140, 14080, 18100, 21080, 24920, 28080 kHz.
     The QSL manager for YI9PSE is N6NKT. Unfortunately their website does
     not indicate if he confirms QSL cards also via bureau. However, you can

     Eric,KG4GYS, is working in Tikrit during the next few months. You can
     find him working as YI9GYS in SSB mostly on 20m and 17m.QSL via KG4GYS.

3B8 - MAURITIUS, AF-049
     Mart,DL6UAA, will be QRV again as 3B8MM from Mauritius (AF-049) working
     mostly in CW on 160m-10m for three weeks starting on Apr 4.
     QSL via bureau or direct to DL6UAA.

     Slavo,SP2JMB, will be active from Mauritius as well from Apr 7-14.
     He will sign 3B8SC in CW on all HF bands. QSL via homecall.

9Q - DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
     Ghis,ON5NT, (ex-9Q1NT), writes that Georges,VE2EK, will show up again
     as 9Q1EK from Kinshasa soon. He will be the only station with a valid
     license in the country. To keep updated all the time you should check
     his website http://ve2ek.blogspot.com regularly. His station will be a
     FT2000 with an OM2500HF amplifier (max. 2500 watts output) and Georges
     will use dipoles for 160m, 80m, 40m, a delta loop and a yagi on a 45m
     mast mainly in CW. Later during his stay he also plans to work in EME
     (144 MHz with 4 x 16 elements and on 432 MHz with 4 x 21 elements).
     QSL direct via SM5DJZ, via LoTW or eQSL.

FRANCE, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     On the occasion of the "World Amateur Radio Day" on Apr 18 some members
     of the "Radio Club Haut-Rhin" will activate the special callsign TM68X
     from Apr 5-18. QSL via F8BUO. More information concerning this activity

ITALY, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     II0SPQR will be active during the month of April celebrating the

THE NETHERLANDS, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     "WOTA" stands for Women On The Air. Anneke,PB7XYL, is member of the
     WOTA Club and will activate the special call PB88XYL from Apr 3-30.

DXCC: Eight year old William Ferguson,KJ4EYZ, son of Rich,N2XQM, is proud
     owner of the DXCC award since Mar 16. Carissa,KJ4EZA, the ten year old
     sister of William, already contacted 82 DXCC entities by now.

PIRATE: The callsign ZS8M was abused by a pirate in March. But there are
     also good news about this call. In a few weeks ZS8M will be activated
     legally by Pierre,ZS1HF, for one year. More info will follow later.
