     CU3CO, CU3DI, CU3DR, CU3EQ, CU3HV and CU3HY will be active as CR1FSC
     from Forte Santa Catarina on Terceira Island (EU-175) between Apr 30
     and May 2. QSLs direct or via bureau to CU3EQ.

HB0 - LIECHTENSTEIN
     Alberto,HB0/IW1PRT, plans to become QRV with his QRP radio on 10m-160m
     on Apr 30 and May 1. QSLs via bureau to IZ1MKR.

HI - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, NA-096
     Ronny,ON4ARV (OT4R), will show up in SSB mainly on 20m/15m/10m signing
     HI7/OT4R from Punta Cana from May 1-22. His preferred frequency is

JD1 - OGASAWARA ISLAND, AS-031
     Hiroyuki "Harry",JG7PSJ, will be QRV again as JD1BMH in CW, SSB and
     digital modes on 40m-6m (maybe also 80m) from Chichijima (AS-031) from

OA - PERU
     Hans,OE3NHW, is staying in Peru since the mid of March. He is working
     as OA6/OE3NHW from the Andes and as OA4/OE3NHW from Lima until the end
     of June. He uses a Kenwood TS-480HX with 200 watts and a 5 band Spider-
     beam for 10m-20m, wire yagis and a G5RV for 40m and 30m.
     QSL cards should be sent via bureau to his homecall.
     Hans is planning another activity from Peru in October 2010.

S7 - SEYCHELLES
     Vlad,RA9LR, will show up as S79LR from Desroches (AF-033) from May 1-7
     and from Mahe (AF-024) during May 8-10. Vlad is working in CW, RTTY,
     PSK63 and some SSB mainly on the lowbands running 100 watts into a
     DX-88 vertical. He also plans to take part in following contests:
     ARI International DX Contest, Alessandro Volta RTTY DX Contest and
     CQ-Mir International DX Contest. A QSL route will be announced later.

ST - SUDAN
     Robert,ST2AR, is active also on 6m now. He is using a 5 ele yagi in a
     height of 26m. Robert wants to listen on the band every day. He is
     staying in Khartoum until summer 2011. QSLs only direct via S53R.

ZF - CAYMAN ISLANDS, NA-016
     Sam,W5CU, will sign ZF2CU mostly in CW on 40m/30m/20m from May 1-8.
     QSLs via his homecall.

4U1VIC - AUSTRIA
     The Vienna International Amateur Radio Club (4U1VIC) will use the
     special callsign 4U10NPT during the month of May. This activity takes
     place during the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty
     on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). QSLs via OE1ZKC.
     4U10NPT counts as 4U1VIC for the DXCC and other awards.

ENGLAND, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
     To mark the 10th anniversary of the closure of world's largest maritime
     radio station Portishead Radio (GKA) in Somerset in the southwest of
     England the special callsign GB10GKA will be activated between Apr 30
     and May 27. Activities will take place mainly in CW. QSLs via G3ZRJ.

JAPAN, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The special event stations 8J1P (QSL via JA1BVA), 8J4P (via JA4MRL) and
     8J6P (via JARL bureau) are promoting the International QRP Day (Jun 17)
     from Apr 28 until Jun 30.

SPAIN, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The special event stations AO1EU, AO2EU, AO3EU, AO4EU, AO5EU, AO6EU,
     AO7EU, AO8EU and AO0EU will be activated from May 1-20 to mark the
     60th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. All QSOs of these stations

VENEZUELA, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     Venezuela celebrates its 200th year of independence by activating
     following special event stations until Dec 31: 4M200AJ (QSL via YV5AJ),
     YV200D (QSL via YV1DIG), YW200A (QSL via YV5SSF), YW200ER (via YV8ER),
     YW200L (QSL via YV5LI) and YW200T (QSL via YV5JBI).

Australischer Amateurfunkverband feiert 100-jaehriges Bestehen
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Australian amateur radio society "Wireless Institute of Australia" (WIA)
celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. WIA president Michael Owen,VK3KI
wrote in the October edition of the Australian amateur radio magazine that
the special event station VK100WIA will be activated by Australian clubs for
five months starting in May 2010. A special QSL card will be sent for all
QSOs between May and October 2010. QSLs will be sent automatically via the
Australian QSL bureau. A special award will be issued and at least two QSOs
with VK100WIA are mandatory. Full information is provided at the website of
