Hans is planning another activity from Peru in October 2010. S7 - SEYCHELLES Vlad,RA9LR, will show up as S79LR from Desroches (AF-033) from May 1-7 and from Mahe (AF-024) during May 8-10. Vlad is working in CW, RTTY, PSK63 and some SSB mainly on the lowbands running 100 watts into a DX-88 vertical. He also plans to take part in following contests: ARI International DX Contest, Alessandro Volta RTTY DX Contest and CQ-Mir International DX Contest. A QSL route will be announced later. ST - SUDAN Robert,ST2AR, is active also on 6m now. He is using a 5 ele yagi in a height of 26m. Robert wants to listen on the band every day. He is staying in Khartoum until summer 2011. This activity takes place during the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). radio society "Wireless Institute of Australia" (WIA) celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. WIA president Michael Owen,VK3KI wrote in the October edition of the Australian amateur radio magazine that the special event station VK100WIA will be activated by Australian clubs for five months starting in May 2010. A special QSL card will be sent for all QSOs between May and October 2010. QSLs will be sent automatically via the Australian QSL bureau. A special award will be issued and at least two QSOs with VK100WIA are mandatory.
