D2 - ANGOLA
Andrew,G7COD, is staying in Luanda, the capital of Angola, since May 7.
He received his licence with the callsign D2AK and plans to be active
as much as possible during the next twelve months. Andrew wants to work
in SSB and CW on 80m-10m with 100 watts and inverted vee antennas.
His preferred frequencies are:
SSB: 7063, 14190, 18133, 21253, 24953, 28500 kHz
CW: 3503, 7003, 10103, 14003, 18073, 21003, 24893, 28003 kHz.

FK - FRENCH NEW CALEDONIA, OC-033
Don,VK2DON, and Curt,W3HQ, will be QRV as FK/W3HQ from Lifou belonging
to the Loyalty Islands (OC-033) in CW on 40m/30m/20m from May 13-16.

OH0 - ALAND ISLANDS, EU-002
OH0/PA2A, OH0/PA2AM, OH0/PA2VMA, OH0/PA3ALK, OH0/PA3BAG, OH0/PA0VHA and
OH0/PB5A will be active from Eckero (EU-002) working with three to four
stations in CW/SSB/RTTY on all bands (including 6m) from May 15-28.

TA - TURKEY, AS-115
Vlada,OK1CW, Franta,OK1DF, Zdenek,OK1FIA, Slavek,OK1TN, Honza,OK2ZAW,

in CW, SSB and some RTTY signing TC07DX from Suluada (AS-115) from

TK - CORSICA, EU-014
Alex,TK/IW5ELA, and Marco,TK/I5KOVI, are active in CW and SSB on
40m-12m from Calvi from May 12-16. They are working in holiday style
with 100 watts, verticals and a loop for 15m.

TL - CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC
Jan,DJ8NK, and Paul,F6EXV, are going to visit Christian,TL0A, from
May 13-26. They will use his callsign mainly in RTTY and on 40m-6m. If
the conditions are good they want to try also 80m and 160m. Christian
will leave the country in July and is expected to start his new job in
Niger in September. He might show up as 5U5U from there.
VK0/M - MACQUARIE ISLAND, AN-005
Denis,ZL4DB, is working on Macqarie Island (AN-005) for the next three
months. He is not an experienced DXer and will visit his shack from
time to time to make a few SSB QSOs as VK0/ZL4DB. His QSL manager is
Paul,ZL4PW, and he stays in contact with Denis via e-mail.
Macquarie is on rank 15 of the world's most wanted DXCC entities.
XV - VIETNAM
Larry,W6NWS will show up as XV2W from Vietnam between May 15 and Jun 9.
He also plans to join the WPX CW and the SEANET Contest.

3A - MONACO
John,3A/K5HGX, is active on the HF bands until May 17. QSLs via K5HGX.
3C - EQUATORIAL GUINEA, AF-010
Prior to their DXpedition to Annobon Island (3C0C) Elmo,EA5BYP, and
Javi,EA5KM, are going to activate Bioko Island (AF-010) for three days
signing 3C9B in SSB, CW and RTTY during the mid of May. QSL via EA7FTR.
An exact date has not been published yet but we will keep you informed
about 3C0C in the next DX Newsletter.
6W - SENEGAL
William,6W/F1TZG, is working in SSB on 160m-6m from the shack of
Jean-Francois,6W7RV, in Somone from May 8-15. QSLs via F1TZG.
7X - ALGERIA
Some members of the Great Desert of the World Djelfa Amateur Radio Club
(7X2VFK) will use the special callsign 7U3GDW from May 17-22. All QSOs
with this special event station will be confirmed with an award instead
of QSL cards via 7X2DD, PO Box 467, CP 17000 Djelfa, Algeria.
9A - CROATIA
OM Zrinko (Zik),DO7ZZ, is QRV again from Croatia signing 9A/VE3ZIK from
May 12-17. This is a preparation for his planned summer activities from
Croatia (IOTA/IOCA/WFF). QSL via bureau to DO7ZZ, eQSL or LoTW.

9H - MALTA, EU-023
9H3TK is the callsign of SP5NVX and SQ5NWA from May 12-18. They work in
SSB and RTTY on 40m/20m/17m/15m from Comino Island (EU-023).

BULGARIA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION
LZ2010KM is activated during May to celebrate the St. Kyril and
Methodius day on May 24. The two brothers Cyril and Methodius are
considered the inventors of the cyrillic alphabet und May 24 is one
of Bulgaria's most important national holidays.

OM Vadim,UN7FW, is signing UP25F until Nov 30 to celebrate the
25th anniversary of the Ekibastuz coal mine. The QSL manager is IK2QPR.
PORTUGAL, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
Members of the "Associacao de Radioamadores do Distrito de Leiria" are
signing CS5FAT until May 13 to mark the visit of Pope Benedikt XVI. in

Vallee,F4BOA, and is momentarily staying in France.

New beacon of the Council of Europe Radio Amateur Club

TP2CE/B on 28222.8 kHz is a new beacon operated by the Council of Europe
Radio Amateur Club. Its power is 450 mW and the antenna is a R7000 vertical.
